At work I installed one in a hummer and to my surprise it sounded pretty good. The only downfall is it needs a huge enclosure. It called for a 17 cu. ft. box. It was very punchy and tight. It sounded like a bunch of 10's. It doesn't handle much power either, 300 watts and has a tiny voice coil. Doesn't have much excursion but why would you need that when you have all that cone area. My opinion is that is is way overpriced and pointless when you could get the same performance out of only six 10's in only a 4 cu. ft. box.

You kiddin'? I heard that thing in a few different enclosures like 5-7 years ago, even in a perfectly sealed box it was muddy as all heck. It was good for making a bunch of horrible noise to win SPL competitions, that's about it.
