is 2 better? is anyone running both pass and driver stealth boxes?i know about phasing and all that crap but every car acoustics is different an am curios on how both sound in an f-body.i want to load them with kicker L-7 10's.which kinda sucks cause i got 3 L-7 12's and a power 800 and kicker xs100 sitting in my basement.anyhow is anyone is running both plz chime in.or how does one sound?

Re: is 2 better? They wouldn't necessarily cancel out because they're facing each other. It all depends on phase and separation. Wave fronts emminate radially from an approximately point source. They interact the same way if they're facing each other or faceing forward next to each other. Stereo shop guys should be required to take an introductory physics class.

Re: is 2 better? You can really run as many subs as you want in a vehicle, regardless of thier orientation in the car. All that matters is that all of them HAVE to be wired in phase (none of them wired opposite the others) If you had let's say 2 subs, and one of them is wired opposite the other, they would cancel each other out, and your bass would seem to "disappear". So go ahead, put 2 subs in if you have room for them. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: is 2 better? You're fine using two subs like that. Just make sure that you're wiring them in phase. If one of them is in reverse polarity of the other of course it would cancel each other out. There would be no change in cabin pressure to produce the sound. Go for both, just make sure to wire them correctly.
Re: is 2 better? Take yourself back about 8 years when orion car audio was one of the top three guys. They had an extended cab long bed chevy truck with a monster bed shell. The bed consisted of two long enclosures going the entire length of the bed with about a 1 foot gap between them. I can't remeber if they were 15's or 18's, and I can't remember exactly how many speakers, it was around 24 or so. They were firing straight into eachother. What I do remember is that it was the meanest sob I had seen at that point in time. They didn't have a problem with subs facing one another.
