Default need electrical help, please!!!!! QTEC prob

my QTEC has been blowing some fuses lately. it's hooked up to the pink wire on the TCS harness. when i was troubleshooting with the voltmeter i accidentally (with alligator clips) bridged the circuit around the fuse and zappo . . . the dash lights (odometer SES etc) are gone and the car won't start. the radio, AC, instrument cluster lights, blinkers all work fine. i thought i might have fried the PCM but i hyperteched it and everything is fine there too. i checked every damn fuse i could find in that car. anybody have any ideas? i'm waiting to talk with barry at QT. TIA

john

Wow. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />
The only thing I can think of is that you fried the battery to the point where it has just enough juice to run the lights, but not enough to start the car. I don't know if that's possible or not, but it would be an easy thing to check.
Good luck
