There are a bunch of companies that make them but if you buy a cheap one you'll be sorry. the quality is so bad youll wish you spent the extra money on one. i have the Belkin Tunebase FM in my TA. I love it and you can pick any station. Plus it looks sweet...Heres a pic.

It depends where you live really. I live between NYC and Philadelphia and the ipod FM modulators are useless to me as there are no open stations anywhere on the fm dial. I get some signal even if faint and then my ipod sounds like ***. For 139 bucks and 15 minutes work I installed a hard wired ipod adapter and for 50 bucks more I got a permenant mount. Looks great and sounds as good as a Monsoon can sound

FYI, almost all FM transmitters suck if you live in the city. Try before you buy if you can...otherwise you are most likely throwing money away and will end up going the hardwired route. In this case, you get out what you put in.

I got the mount from a non sponsor. The mount is made by Pro.fit and is called a VSM (Vehicle Specific Mount) the model number is CV-53-97 for the 4th gen fbody. The instructions say it will fit 97-2001 fbody's but it will also fit the 2002. You will then need to buy the cradle that attaches to the mount. Again, purchased from a non sponsor but PM me and I'll give you the details.

I hard wired my ipod. I bought the USA Spec adapter for my 2002 Z28. 139.00 bucks but comes with everything you need to hardwire the ipod to a 99-02 Fbody. It does replace the cd changer which I didn't have anyway so no big deal. The USA Spec device also has a stereo input via RCA's to add another source. You can also set it up so that the cd changer controls work the ipod or leave the ipod do the control. either way the seek buttons on the wheel will advance songs etc.

In a month or 2 I was be selling my new ipod adapter. I have decided to go all out with the system. Today I ordered 2 stealth sub boxes and an amp rack. I'll be buying 2 JL subs 2 Mono JL amps and a 4 channel amp and HU within the next few weeks. I have had enough of the Monsoon. I added 2 Infinty Kappa 62.7i's to the front doors today and am adding another 2 62.7i's to the rear spots tomorrow.
