were and which color is the ignition wire?
In pretty much any GM I can think of it is a 12 ga pink wire on the right side of the steering column. It will be ran along side some other 12ga wires for example: red, orange, yellow and maybe a brown.
hello everybody i got my boost and fuel pressure gauges almost done all i have to do is find the ignition wire to splice the f/p wire to. i was told a few opinions on this, i could either run a wire to the fuse box on the drivers side door or i could splice and solder the wire to the ignition wire were ever it is. what is better or easier to u guys? i was just gonna ask were the wire is located and what color it is? thanks alot

Johnny's right the pink 12 gauge wire in the wire loom that runs next to the steering colume is the one your looking for, by the way it's the fatter of the pink wires in your harness not the smaller 16 gauge wires that run parallel to it. As far as the fuse is concered you just have to put it in line with your tach. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Yeah, the ignition wire is one of the bigger pink wires that runs with a yellow, red and brown wire of the same size. It is on the right side of the column and will run down and in front of the column. The only other big wires to mistake it from are the headlight wires, and those run on the left side of the column and are of a lighter color. As for the fuse, just go to any car or electrical store and buy a inline fuse kit.

can u be more specific? thanks
