Re: Rockford Type RF Amplifiers??
My experience with Rockford Fosgate was decent. The amps do have alot of power, but would not have high enough quality(for me) sound production at high dB. If loud is what you want they will give you 'loud', but the quality may not be the best. I switched to PPI amps, JL Audio subs, and MB Quart mids/highs and have used them every since. Yeah I pay more for the equipment but it is worth it if you like sound quality no matter what level you listen to your music. JMO

yeah, I'm mainly concerned about SQ first, but I also want it to be able to deliver the power to get loud AND keep the SQ high. I'll take a look into PPI and MTX tonight.

the type rf stuff is going to be hard to beat, built in time delay very low distortion. if you look at the type rf you can see there not made for sheer power thay are made for sq. the will smoke anything mtx has out and just about anything else out there. the type rf is a totally diffrent line than regular rockford. just my .02

Any experiences or opinions on these Amps(rockford fosgate type RF)? I'm building an SQ setup and trying to decide on the best amps for my setup. Any opinions appreciated...
