I have a camaro, but I think it should be the same for the firebird. I had 4 screws though, 3 on the door handle (2 top, 1 bottom) and then another screw on the top left (or right) of the door that holds a little triangle peice. After you have those, it basically just lifts UP and out (it has J-hooks).

So far I only found three. I guess I better look a little harder. Thanks for the info.

one screw at the front of the handle, one at the rear of the handle, one at the very bottom of the panel in the storage pocket, the panel that holds the lock & window butttons, just pop it off with a flat head, the trim panel that goes around the dorr handle, take that little screw out, and untwist the light bulb, behind all of that you will see the fourth support screw. now lift staight up on the door panel and it will come right off.

Default Taking off door panel to put in New Speakers

I have a 98 ta with monsoon and am not sure how to get the panel off the door to put the new speakers in. After you take out the three screws I'm a little stumped. Kindly give me some advice. Believe me I need it. Thanks.
