auto down switches

does anyone how to make all the window switches in f-bodies have the auto down option or is there a place i can buy them from cause im really lazy and i hate having to hold one of the switches down and not the other one

its very easy, you need to remove the passenger door panel, cut one wire, splice 2 wires, connect the 4 wires to a drivers side auto down module, and then reassemble.

If you want to be cool, you buy a spare drivers side switch, and swap covers, so both say "auto" down <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

thats the instructions i used, and had the whole process done in 15 minutes <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> see sig <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

yeah if there was a way i wanted to put the auto buttons for all the switches <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

if installed the way that webpage describes, all "down" buttons on the car will be one touch, the drivers stays the same, and the passenger, and the passenger side on drivers control panel, will all pick up the "one touch" signal for the passenger door.

Currently my drivers side is labeled "auto auto" but the passenger side , is still normal <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> I cant justify another $12 for the pass side switch cover, so it will stay like it is now <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I did this to my car following the instructions from the website that was given above. Very easy to do and it's a neat little modification.

I ordered the parts from www.gmpartsdirect.com and I replaced all the switches with the "AUTO" ones. I figured make them all look the same.
