Radio InOp... how do I unlock it?

Radio InOp... how do I unlock it? I changed the plugs last weekend and disconnected the battery... then I got the LOC <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> I tried to type in my code, but for whatever reason it wouldn't take. Eventually I got the InOp display.
The manual says to contact the dealership, but I know they will want me to take my car in to them for the fix. It took them 1 1/2hrs just to replace the lock-lugs because they never gave me the chuck key, so I can only imagine how many hours I'd have to wait for them to reset my radio <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
Does it require a special code or anything? TIA

Re: Radio InOp... how do I unlock it? Just spoke with GM. They need to pull my radio, get a code off the back, call into GM and get a reset code, and will charge me a 1/2hr labor for it! This truly sucks! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Theftloc Bypass
1. Press and hold presets 2 & 3 for about 10 seconds until the first 3 digits of the display code are displayed
2. Write the numbers down.
3. Press the AM FM button, write down the next 3 numbers
4. Call 1-800-537-5140, when asked, enter 202107, press the “button” and enter the 6 digit code from the radio, you will get an unlock code, write it down.
5. Go back to the car, press the HR button and set the first 2 numbers, then press minute button and set the next two last numbers, press AM FM button, SEC should be displayed, turn on radio
To remove customers code, repeat step 5. you should see --- on radio face, the code is now out of the radio.

Re: Radio InOp... how do I unlock it? It worked like a charm... tomorrow I'll be sure to tell this to that ***-munch at the dealership who told me he'd need to pull my radio and charge me a 1/2 hour... it took me all of 3 minutes
