I am putting 2 JL Audio 12's in the back of my camaro. I was curious to know if any of you know how to get the rear Facia where it has camaro written in the back....not to rattle. It is very unpleasent I've heard a number of my friends camaros and that one piece is all that is rattling. Please help

Shop towels and rags do amazing wonders when it comes to body panel rattles. Sticking rags under the liscense plate will cure that, I'm sure the same concept will work if you reach up under there. Otherwise dynamat extreme also works wonders, I have my whole hatch layered with it. Good luck. Rattles are the

Dynamat is pretty useful in stopping rattles. It's that foil stuff with neoprene and the sticky back so you put it on like a sticker on your car. I have some on my '99 Z28 thanks to the previous owner who had 2 10" JL subs.

I have only a single 10" JL 10w3v2 which is about 250 watts. It hits pretty damn good (even sets off car alarms), and I have yet to hear a rattle.

Hopes this helps you man, and good luck with your subs.

ok so the dynomat....where exactly do u put it to stop the rear facia from rattling? on the underside of the rear facia...or on the inside of back hatch? that's confusin me. cause the rear facia isnt on all that tight and that's what's causin it to rattle i think. they are goin to see what they can do to get it no to rattle...maybe things will work out. thanks guys Justin

Just dissemble the taillight/rear fascia assembly, wipe off the inside of the fascia with some cleaner to get the grime off the inside, then apply the dynamat, brown bread, etc. to the inside area. The way it works is by adding weight to the piece, just like sitting on the hatch would stop it from rattling.
