corvette radio question Hey guys just picked up my vette 99 coupe 6 speed, it has the stock single cd player, no changer. It also has a button for an aux source, i'm figuring this is for the optional cd changer this car doesn't have. My question is...is there a way i can plug my mp3 player into this head unit using this aux capability? I dont want to use this shitty fm modulator i have and i really dont want to change the head unit if i dont have to. Thanks for the help.

You can get the PIE GM10-AUX adapter to convert standard RCAs from your MP3 player to direct input into the CD changer port. (Note: the Corvette takes the GM10-AUX rather than the GM9-AUX that is used for F-bodies.)

Unfortunately, Crutchfield doesn't carry it anymore but there are numerous sites on the web that do (such as logjamelectronics). Doing a Google or Yahoo search for "GM10-AUX" (be sure to include the quotes) will find several sites.

All you need is a cable from Radio Shack (or even WalMart) that has the 1/8" stereo (headphones) plug on one end and a pair of RCA plugs on the other end.
