pioneer 4 ways and 3 ways

pioneer 4 ways and 3 ways i just gutted the entire factory monsoon system out of my car and installed a vr3 (dont laugh 
its got usb port!!) head unit and pioneer speakers and ran 12 ga. speaker wire. i put the pioneer 3 ways in the front and the 4 ways in the back. but im not sure it sounds right. it seems unclear. it hits but the whole thing just lacks clarity. should i have put the 3 ways in the back and the 4 ways up front? i was told the 4 ways hit harder than 3 ways.

For one thing, dont waist your money on those shitty speakers! 3 way and 4 ways coax speaker are ****, sales gimmick and waist of money. A good set of 2 way coax speakers from Alpine, Infinty, Focals are 10x better.

Look at your +'s and your -'s !! I agree that 3 or 4 way is same same and 2 way is better but ... you should have an ok sound with those spk's ... I would look to see if you have them out of phase ...
that is +'s and -'s mixed up ,,,,, did you use the facory wires for speakers?
I would look there 1st
