New system pics!
The kenwood amp works great and puts out plenty of watts for the sub, includes awesome features such as a digital readout and equalizer settings(under the removable aluminum plate). The Elemental Designs sub hits hard and puts out clean bass. Now to the headunit, well I cant type enough to explain what great features and ease of use it has. The bluetooth works great and I had the mic mounted above the left A-pillar and people can hear me loud and clear, even passengers can talk and be heard. The display on the headunit also shows the car voltage, RPMS etc. The research and patience does truly pay off and hopefully soon ill be in the market for a component system and aftermarket sail panels. Let me know what you guys think and thanks for looking...

I ment about the Headunit, since it just came out and is hard to find for as good as price I got, but thanks for all the comments from you all.
Haha sorry, kinda drunk last night. Nice system though man and ED subs do pound. I want to get one of the slimline 10's try and save a little weight and get a good pound.

looks good though
Thanx for the info on where to buy - Great prices on everything!
I decided to go with the Pioneer (but the model one down from yours - 7800 Premier as I don't need the bluetooth feature)
I'll also be going with the ED 10" - haven't decided on whether to go all out with (2) or stick with just one as you have - do you really feel that just the one gives enough sound?
Why did you go with the Kenwood amp over the matching ED Amp and take advantage of their package deals?

Jay, The 7800 model is fine, youll be amazed at the screen quality and features. The one 10 in the drivers side stealth is fine for me now. When I get components however, I might get a passenger side stealth for another 10. It all depends on how much bass you want. My one little 10 pounds harder then my friends who have 2 12s in their trucks.
I went with the Kenwood Excelon amp because it is their top of the line (Like Pioneers "Premier" line), for the features it has, for being CEA compliant (its a voluntary procedure that tests the amps to see if they really put out the watts they claim), and I got it for dirt cheap on ebay. Heres a link to Crutchfield since they have all the specs and info on the Kenwood amp Link
I took a risk since I have never bought a Kenwood amp or product before, but so far so good, it doesnt get hot and never gives up.
Lastly, something I recommend, the Kenwood amp gives out 900Wrms at 2ohms and 530Wrms at 4ohms. I bought a Elemental Designs 11Ov.2 dual 2ohm sub so when I wire it in "series" it gets a 4ohm load from the amp. So if I ever decide on getting another sub, I can wire another sub to get a 2ohm load, thus more power from the amp. Its always good to get a more powerful amp then your sub requires, but just to be careful how you wire it, so when you want to upgrade, just change the loads by rewiring.
I hope I got all this information right, still learning as I go, anybody feel free to correct anything. Thanks for reading my long *** post and goodluck to you all with your setups.

Spend the money on good componets and forget the sails.
