For the money, I recommend Planet Audio for sub amps. I have a P1250D pushing 2 JL Audio 12W6s (not in my Camaro) and it's nice.

Wouldn't touch any of those listed except MMATS unless I got a super deal. (When I said Planet Audio, keep in mind the one I listed is like $150, so that IS a super deal)

Especially Audiobahn. All show. Overpriced crap. I fell for it in the past.

kicker kx1200.1 or the new kicker zx1500.1

the new kicker zx1000.1 will work, just a little less power.

I have looked at some of the Kicker Amps and they look nice, but pretty expensive. But now that I think about it, I wouldn't mind paying good money to get an amp that will knock the L7's. Thanks guys on the help so far!

I used to have a JBL1200.1 pushing a single 12" l7. I had it running at 4 ohm, so it was only wired to the amp at 600 watts. Depending on your wiring configuration the amp is 1200watts at 2 ohms and i believe it is 1 ohm stable. Take a look at ebay for one. Should be around 225 to 300 ish. They don't make these models anymore, so it will most likely be used. Other than that, you can't go wrong with the j/l 1000/1 however your going to pay out the a$$ for it. the L7 is a very power hungry sub. Try to get each of them 500 watts rms or more, and you will be very happy...however your electrical system will probably hate you. There are a number of "underground" sub amps you can buy that will perform great. I understand elemental designs is putting out a line of amps and adire audio as well. Check out elitecaraudio.com, they have a lot of info on there and you might even be able to find an amp for sale on the message boards. Those guys seem to love to throw their money around at amps, like a lot of guys do go the fast parts around here.

USAmps...Cough cough
