CD Changer HELP!! Hey whats up...i have a 2001 SS Camaro...and it has the 12 disc CD changer...i had the in-dash in my last car...i only had one CD in the number 1 cd slot...i actually bought it with the CD in the car and it was pretty good so i didn't touch it lol...anyway...i've been without a cd player for a good month now...between work and school i can't get around to fix it or even find out the problem...everything is put in correctly...im positive about that...everytime i put the magazine into the changer and press play it comes up "err"...obviously short for error...did this ever happen to anybody...anybody have any suggestions??

already knew that lol.. yea shiny side is up on all CD's...i just think its f'd up...on another note...are there any other CD changers that are monsoon friendly...i rather not buy another stock one...chevy will charge me an arm and a leg for subpar equipment.

No, the only other changer that will work with the factory head unit is called a NeoChanger and it's actually worse than the factory one. But don't buy one from your dealer - there's usually one for sale here in the For Sale forum or you can find them on eBay.
