Help with my Sony CDX-65 10 Disc Changer I was looking online and I think I figured out what's wrong with it, but I want to know if I'll be able to fix it myself.
The problem arises usually when I change the disc around, but sometimes it just happens randomly. The entire thing shuts off. I turn it back on, and when I hit CD on the remote, it turns off. After a little bit, it actually turns on and I can hear the CD player moving the discs around and stuff, and then it shuts off, turns back on and does the same thing. It does this over and over for awhile, and then it just randomly starts working again.
I read that one thing that is at least fairly common is that the Lift Mechanism is blocked. I think that's the problem because it seems to happen when it's loading a new disc.
I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this, but I don't know where else to ask.
