Shitty pictues, sorry for that

This is the pod that was in my car. The guages are Autometer 2 1/16 Phantom IIs with Autometer's pod. The stud it rubbing on the pod, but I can still turn the guage around and as you can see it's pressed in all the way. Where the other guage was there are no makings where the stud was rubbing.

Huh... and all three are like that?? I thin the difference between your car (4th gen) and my car (3rd gen) is that there is more rake to your windshield. So the gauges are closer to being parallel with the A-pillar...if you know what Im sayin. And my A-pillar is alittle more vertical... But I dont know why it would be different on JLMoses's car since you both have 4th gens...

I have the phantom trans guage in my car. What I did was actually trim the A-piller behind the gauge pod so the back of the guage wouldn't hit the piller. Mine is a far in as it will go, but there is still a tiny part of the guage showing, oh well.

I wouldn't cut it either if I had the replacement piller with the pods built in. But I simply added a pod to my stock piller, which you have to cut up to attach everything and run the wires for the guage.

I have the same problem with my Nitrous pressure gauge.

The gauge fits in just right by itself, but when connecting the 4AN braided hose line, there is not enough room in the back of the pod for the hose to bend without the gauge sticking out a 1/4". I've dremeled as much as i can without it being pointless and it still sticks out. I've tried 90 degree and 45 degree 4AN angle connectors and it still doesn't work. I just gave up and painted the sides of the gauge flat black.

Let me know if someone finds a resolution to this

You can kinda see it in the top gauge here:

No it's not. I'd rather not fork down a couple bills for a gauge when a $26 one will function the same

Is the line or fitting hitting the pillar? Or can you push the guage in and it pops back out?
