Dynamat install around speakers
I was bored so I took out my rear hatch pieces(the ones with speakers) and was going to dynamat them. I realized behind the speaker there are lots of bumps etc. so I just popped off the speaker cover and put dynamat in there. You cant really see it when the cover is back on. Do you think this this an effective way of doing it?
Next I am going to dynamat the rear sail panel speakers, how did you guys do those? I am thinking half a sheet or so with a hole cut for the speaker.
ps got stock monsoon and am trying not to add too much dynamat weight.

Personally i believe the more dynamat the better. I would suggest dynamatting your floor, doors, front firewall, roof, trunk. To do it clean the surface off well. Dry it than cut the dynamat to fit the space. Take a roller or the back of a screwdriver and push it as hard as you can to get a good seal. My neon has well over 160 sq feet of dynamat in it.
