Whichever you pick, get it at Costco. Mucho MUCHO cheaper than the others have said they paid. I paid less than $100 for my red top there.

There must have been a sale at your Costco because I just picked up a Red Top 75/35 today and I got it for 139.99 plus tax. I don't mind paying that since I've had problems with regular batterys leaking. Also Autozone wanted 169.99 and Sears wanted 159.99. I know they can be had for cheaper online but who do you take your battery to if something happens to it? You have to remove it, send it off, and wait for a replacement. I can have someone to bitch at since I bought it at Costco.

Two different posters. lbls1 said it's cold and his battery only lasts a week. That's ridiculous - a battery should last much longer even in cold weather. JLMoses posted about replacing three batteries in two years. That's not a weather problem - that's a battery drain problem.

Go for the red top!.........i have used it for over a year and a half on my car with no problems.

And i'm running a JL audio 12" w7, eclipse 6x9's, focal mids and highs, JL audio 300/4 amp, 500/1 amp for the sub, clarion head unit, and hitting over 135dbs.
