Default sound deadening questions

im gonna be sound deadening my car soon when i get my new amps and head unit and was trying to decide which stuff to go with. im pretty much dead set on the stick on Elemental Designs eDead stuff but im not sure which one to go with, theres the v1 and then the V1SE which is a bit thicker.

my main question is, will there be that much of a difference with the thicker stuff and is it worth it, or will the cheaper stuff be a better bang for my buck? im looking to do my doors, the entire hatch until about where the rear seats start and the sail panels. around how much would cover these areas well?

the V1Se is 60 mils

and then V1 is 45 mils

Save yourself the trouble and a hell of a lot of money go to lowes buy a few rolls of peel and seal it's way cheaper at 14 bucks a roll and does the same thing. It will be dead as a door nail and your wallet will not be eating beer and prezels for a week bc you sound deadened your car. I have used it in many different vehicles over the last ten years and have yet to be disappointed in it's performance. There is way more expensive but once the panels are on it all does the same thing.

It will work but is not nearly as sticky as the otehr stuff so it will fall off a lot more easily if not applied correctly. It is also not as thick so more layers will need to be applied. I would rather save the headache and use the better stuff. I would check out raamatt best bang for the buck. Also check out secondskin and dynamat extreme if you are willing to spend the money.
