Default Will PAC SWI-X Work with my Alpine CDA-7894

Will PAC SWI-X Work with my Alpine CDA-7894? I've had this head unit laying around in my closet from my 'vette since I bought the car, and I've been dying to put it in. Just wanted to make sure it's compatible with the PAC SWI-X so I can re-use my steering controls...

All help is appreciated!

I believe the SWI-x will work with any aftermarket stereo that has a remote. It uses an infra red emitter to send the signal to the aftermarket HU. I do not beleieve that PAC SWI-ALP will work that that stereo though. Does the Alpine have a 2.5mm jack in the back? if so that is the PAC module you want.

How much are those? Though personally I'd rather just get rid of my steering wheel with controls on it.
