if you're getting them for the same price. i would say alpine. but the audiovox on is probably a jensen. which can be found for around 3-400 bucks or so. i don't think you're getting a new alpine for that price.

I like the Alpine CDA-9856.
For the Price though, the pioneer DEH-4800MP is a good one to check out.

Alpine all the way. but really it's up to you. If you like the features of one more than the other, go with that one. I've played the brand game with car stereo a few times now, and have suffered miserably. I think I'll only buy good brand names form here on out.

just between those 2 choices alpine hands down. call me a snob, but i'd rather have the cheapest (current) alpine model that offered features i wanted than anything audiovox.

i apologize for my ognorance if the audiovox brand has changed at all over the years.

i have a jensen in mine. bought out by audiovox. and i dont have any problems. if you're trying to get the most cost effective, i'll say jensen. but if it's the same price as the alpine, then get the alpine.
