Will CD changer work with Monsoon CD headunit???

Will CD changer work with Monsoon CD headunit??? recently my cd player stopped working on my monsoon cd head unit. there is a button that says CD/Aux, can i still hook a cd changer up to the head unit or do i need to get a monsoon tape head unit?

i had a aftermarket pioneer cd headunit hooked up but it seemed that the stock monsoon put out more bass and thump. if you buy aftermarket radio does power still run through the amp?
