Need Help! Installing new window motor but window regulator is off its rails!! hey guys, my window motor needed to be changed and like an idiot i made a mistake, . someone told me that i need to drill through the rivets to get the motor off, . i mistakenly driven through the rivets that were attached to the door, (the window regulator) . . i then drilled the rivets out of the window regulator to get the motor off, when that happened, the window fell a bit and the roller thingees came off the railings, . . i can't for the life of me get them back on, . . any help is much appreciated!!!

you do need to drill through the rivets to get the motor off, but you're supposed to secure the window in place before you remove the motor. otherwise, what else would hold the window in place??
