Wow what kind of sub are you using? I dont think w7's even need that much space. I have 2 12's in my car, I custom built my box so that it would sit on the deck so I could still use my t-tops. Ill see if I can get some pics.

give subthump.com a call. they make a deep box for the fbody. I'm on the bottom left on the pics. It's 2 15" L7s.

http://www.subthump.com/acamarowell.htm

I wouldn't run anything different. This box is a built with quality. It's not cheap, but the best money I have spent, period.

I have a box for a 12" sub that's 3.0 cu ft w/ 2 3" ports, that fits perfectly on the rear deck. It's curently wrapped in black vinyl to match my leather but I can uncover it and you can cover it w/ whatever you want! I have another box for the rear deck for 2 12" subs that's 1.6 cu ft on each side. PM me if you want to see pics Screamin

Weird, I'm talking to ProBox about becoming a site sponsor. I've read several good reviews about their products.

Their other site is www.ProBoxLoaded.com

158db is impressive for a single 12". What software did you hit that on? How much power?

I think he hit that on one on the superbass boxes that aren't Camaro specific. Ya know, throw a ported single 12 in the cargo area under the glass or behind the front seats?

I didn't know about this company, looks like they build quality. Wonder what their pricing is like? I didn't know there was a custom fit pre-fab enclosure for a single ported 12 in these cars. I'm thinking about putting that in my car instead of my 2 12"s in a sealed box. Has anyone used that box? What do you think you could hit db with that?

Hard to say, don't know what kind of setup he had to hit 158db. He hasn't responded yet to say. I be interested to see what new device did the recording. 158db on a single 12 is pretty tough to do. Even Mike@fbody will confirm that.

158db with a single 12" is VERY VERY hard to do. It'd be slightly easier in a hatch car like an f-body, but I can't see it happening without a rather expensive 12" and a box ported and tuned for competition - a very large box.

Course, it's always possible that the mic was in the port itself - Port Wars can be popular - but I didn't even hit 151db in my Altima with over 2000w RMS and a 4 cube box, with drivers specifically built for SQL. I might - and I'm hoping I do - hit 155db with a 9 cube setup ported for a higher frequency and 2 15" subs, but I honestly can't see a single 12" in an f-body hitting 158db.

I have a Subthump Milhouse box, but it's discontinued. Shame, one of the best boxes I ever heard. My single 12" sealed sounds like it's ported.
