Default Bttery relocation Question...

****, One at time.I also just bought this batteryhttp://www.thunderracing.com/catalog/?action=vshop&vid=3&pcid=11 not the red top,Dyna bat what do you think? will this set up work good? My car is driven about 3 days a week but i still need it to startand power everything.Appreciate any opinions,thanks...

I would not use that short ground / chassis sheet metal
for starter current myself; prefer an decent copper run.
And with a 'vert I would be putting it in the spare tire
well (dunno what the sedan folks like) meaning wanting
a better battery tray that can hang there (BMR makes
a nice looking one but it costs more than this whole kit).
That tray shown looks to want a flat place to sit.

Basically the only thing I like here is the #2 positive
cable.

I have that exact kit and plan on buying the BMR battery cage thingy, the one that it comes with doesn't really have a good place to sit in F-Bods. I ran the 1 gauge positive directly to the starter. Then ran another 10 gauge directly from the battery to the alternator and then another 10 gauge from the alternator to the dash lights. I grounded it to the body in the back and ran a 10 gauge wire directly from the battery to the ground on the passenger side fender.

As of right now though I'm not getting any spark but I've eliminated the possibility of it being the battery located in the trunk.
