raptor shift light problem
raptor shift light problem I did the raptor shifter light install today, did everything correctly according to installuniversity. Ran the tach wire from the #10 wire from PCM, used the screw underneat glove box for ground and power from the pink wire on TCS. Thing is, I cant get it to show any signs of life in the light! Put it all to the correct settings (4cyl. mode) and set the RPM's low (3000rpm) so I could see if it worked driving around the block. However, it wont blink when I turn on the ignition, change any settings, or when I hit 3000 rpms driving. Any ideas? The car is a 2001 camaro. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
I used one of those plastic wire taps.
Now I have a whole new stew of problems. Messing with the wires I accidentally crossed the tach wire with the ground wire (i think..) and i heard something burn up and could instantly smell it. Car wont start now but all the lights and electronics work. What the f**k? Did i short out the ignition (hopefully not..)??
