Just finished building a TANK! ! ! An air-tank that is. Will get to test it out tomorrow. Wife & neighbors don't wanna hear it at 1:43 AM I'm sure.
Sealed the inside with glue IN the joints, caulking in the seams, double layer of fiberglass & some cases triple layer. Then filled minor cracks outside with plastic (mix that hardens).
Soldered the wires inside w/the quickconnect box outside. Filled the space with cotton batten. Then also covered the outside face with actual trunk material from a Camaro. Just need to find a grille to protect the speaker.
Speaker/Subwoofer is designed for a 1.5 cu ft enclosure. This one works out to 1.4 (1.38 cu ft). Hope I don't hear the difference.

1.4 cu ft ?? how did you come up with that measurement ?
assuming that's a 10" sub, that box looks no where near 1.4 cu ft.
about the best people have gotten in the driver side without fiberglass is .6 or so.

Mike, you caught me. I miscalculated. the EXTERNAL space it 1.4 cu ft. Haven't recalculated the internal, but I bet its close to .8 or so... LOTS of room in there.
