Pic of my sub install Well I just thought I would throw up a picture of my subwoofer installation. For the Amp I reversed the sparetire (so the flat "face" is nearest the fender) to create a cavern, and mounted my amp in there. ghetto yes, but hidden and safe too. subwoofer is a Resonant Engineering SE series 12" sub, in a custom box for the T-top well. I then covered the "beauty" plate in matching vinyl. Flash makes the colors look off, but its damn near perfect in person. Enjoy and shoot me questions if you have em.
how does it hit? i've been looking into RE stuff lately...but a XXX wont fit in our cars to well while still able to use t-tops. looking into the SE's and others possibly. looking at those in a t-top box or something.
NICE!! Love the fact that someone used RE sub!!! Nice stuff!! What the heck do you mean you haven't heard it in the T/A yet. It's IN the T/A. You mean to tell me you put that thing in there and didn't listen to it when you were done????!!!!! DAMN IT MAN!!! What kind of a man puts a RE sub in a car and doesn't listen to it when he finishes the install....how do you know it even works???!!!! LMAO!!!!! J/K!!!!!
haha its a long story...but i need the bass boost cable from my amp....and also to run the remote turn on lead.....well the cables not here yet and i dont feel like tearing up the kickpanel twice....so thank UPS

Verdad Gallardo well....i can give you the run down on the system in my jeep...but with the TA i really dont have the money to do all the speakers just yet. but in the jeep I had this same sub, kenwood components and tweeters up front, and Eclipse 6.5" in the rear. Not TOP of the line but it sounded pretty good. RE was recommended to me from a buddy of mine, and as far as I can tell, their prodects have alot of BANG for the BUCK....no pun intended

SEs are such killer subs, sound awesome and u cant kill em. I wanted SEs for my TA but they were out when i bought stuff
