If there is someone that dosent care about the T top space in the back there is a company in Ft.Worth Texas the makes a box called CAMFIRE .... Made by TOBY the boxes sound awesome i had one in my old SS ... 1 10" sounds like 2 12's and easy to pull out to go to the track... I also cut a hole in the rear deck cover and installed a grille cover so the sound thump threw ... Looked really sweet .... Used one of the old Kicker tight mesh grilles .... Just giving some ideas .... I plan on getting another CAMFIRE box sometime for the TA soon ... (non-sponsor link removed)
See ya

those who have the sub mounts on both sides
did you have to cut a hole into the passenger side?

Yup.

I used a dremel to cut it out, also used the driver's side to use as a template in order to cut out the right side.
The dremel heated up the plastic, so it wasn't ideal, but I got the job done.
