2 quick questions

2 quick questions 1) Whenever I drive I hear a very high pitched squeaking sound that I swear is comming from my rear hatch speakers. Since I don't plan on using them anyways, can I just remove then and disconnect the wires?
2) Can I do the same with the sail panel subs since they are blown and plan on replacing them eventually? Will this sound bad with the stock monsoon system and an aftermarket head unit?
