Default My new system is in
Got my new stereo installed in my car Monday afternoon.
Headunit is an Eclipse CD3000 that is Sirius ready with an I-POD plug-in cord. Did a Subthump side enclosure with a JL Audio 10w1v2. This powered by a SoundStorm 900 watt 2 channel amp being bridged. I'll get pictures up by end of the weekend cause rigght now the weather sucks horribly here.

You have all 900 of those watts on that 10w1? That is not the kind of smoke show you want in an f-body

I have it cause i used to run 2 rockford hx2's and needed that amp to bumb it good. Now the amp is turned all the way down because that much isn't needed.

It's a SoundSTORM, not a SoundSTREAM amp, so it probably couldn't blow the JL anyway

You can blow a speaker with a nasty clipped signal easier than too much clean power

while in photobucket copy the img code under the picture and paste it in your post, the picture will come up when you submit the post

you know you have a real nice quality jl audio w1 setup and then a POS sound storm amp???what the hell is the point of that

should of just bought a rockford or a sony sub to match the cheap amp

Nah, while I agree that SoundStorm sucks, I'd rather put my money into a good sub than a good amp if my budget was limited.
