need a little help

Alright guys iv checked everything but maybe im missing something ...... I'll explain the best i can ..... my amp is on, the connections are correct..... problem is ..... my sub is barely moving its more of a subtle heart beat, instead of actually hitting and making bass...... what could the problem be?!!?! i checked the fuses and all the connections and everything is good ..... please comment back

here's the specs..... Panasonic cq-c3333u headunit, JBL GTO coaxials, JBL GTO 1004D 10" sub, JBL GTO CS300.1 300 Watt mono amp ....the sub is 4 ohm, 250W RMS, 1,000 peak..... the amp is self explanitory.

Do you have it hooked up out of phase?

it was working fine and then just all of a sudden stopped working

out of phase means the positive and negative wires are reversed. If it was working fine and now you have limited output my first thought would be to check the RCAs.
