Default Dynotune wideband gauge is f'd up

I bought a dynotune a/f gauge to hook up to my existing lc1 wideband. It is hooked up according to their instructions but it is reading way off. at idle it's reading 23.3

I know my wideband is reading correctly because when i read it with efilive it reads 13.xx at idle.

I called dynotune and they insist I calibrated my lc1 wrong. I recalibrated it today and am still getting the same issue.

has anyone had this problem?
