dash light problems

dash light problems while driving today i turned on my fog lights and saw that my radio and milage screen would get real dim. i then saw that the lights for the gauges and ac controls would not turn on. i checked the gauge fuse and every thing is fine. the warning lights all work just not the gauge lights.

Check the IP DIMMER (5-amp) fuse. Don't just visually inspect, either test it or replace it with a known good fuse. Fuses often look fine even when they are blown.

fixed it. i feel so dumb. that same day the air bag fuse blew and i guess i replaced it with the ip dimmer fuse. the dam fuse wasn't even in there. i went back and looked at it last night and saw it was missing.
