Problem with HID's I just installed. They worked fine for the first day, but now when I turn turn the key on the wiper motor is humming even though I have the wipers off. But when I turn the wipers on, the humming in the wiper motor goes away. 
I unplugged the hid's and it quit doing it.
Any ideas on what the problem is???

I remember reading a thread about a ground loop issue.
Try mounting them with zip ties to something plastic.

So what is the fix for this? I will try un bolting them from the metal bumper ref. And mounting to something insulated.

I had the Exact same problem when I installed Mine. I also bolted mine down to metal, which was causing it to ground out. Ended up frying my wipermotor. Mount your ballasts against some plastic with some double sided tape and your problem will be solved.

You were right my man. I insulated them from the steel bumper support and problem solved.
You guys thinking about getting these, keep this in mind.
