window stops working and then will work
Oh yeah I should add that my drivers side window was like this for a long time, and then eventually stopped working altogether. The passenger side already started slowing way down and then stopping after a few uses (having to let it cool down etc before using it again) so they replaced them both. So I'm assuming they are both slowly dying and will eventually stop working altogether so I think a full replacement is called for regardless of how functional they may be right now.
not sure if that is your scenario

my new motor came with 4 bolts & screws... and on the door panel I see 4 rivets...
I'm not going any further until I find some clarification! thanks guys.

Do not touch the 4 rivets you can see on the door panel.

the guide is very good, however on T/A's we have a few extra bolts you gotta take care of. one is at the bottom, in the tray dead center almost. there is one located at the back of the arm rest underneath and one under neath the handle. then finally the forth one is located in the center where all your wires are ran to. its dead center, with white around it.
I spent 35 minutes trying to get the power plug from the window motor un-hooked and finally said screw it. I just drilled it out, and after it came down it was very easy to unhook.
the new motor is a little bit louder than the old one but with the car running and music playing, no way you'd hear it. and being a new motor its still kind of sluggish.
all in all after 5 hours MISSION COMPLETE
for anyone that could do that in 30 minutes I bow to you and your mastery of the tools, and craftsman ship!
