I just cant figure out replacement for my stock tweeters...
The rear ones by the 4" speakers have those weird "plate"style tweeters and the front ones are "dome"style tweeters, is this correct??
It is very hard for me to find plate style tweeters for the rear for some reason.
I have seen less than a handful, but if i indeed buy them, how do i know they will "snap" in to their factory locations??
The search button had smoke coming off of it after i was done with it

So the dimension of the outer casing of the tweeter is indeed 4"?
They looked realy shitty(stock) kinda like cellphone speaker's.
Ill take a look at the Alpine, and maybe some Kicker's I have ad kickers berfore and they were fantastic, but to be honest ill probably get an off brand.

If you have a Camaro, the hatch speakers are 4" full-range (actually GM calls them "extended range") not tweeters. Only the Firebird has components in the back - a 4" mid and a .75" tweeter on each side. These would be the last speakers I would consider replacing - especially if you're still using the original Monsoon setup. That's because they don't contribute much to the overall sound of the system and they almost never need to be replaced because they so seldom blow. Concentrating an upgrade on the door speakers and sail subs (or adding a separate sub and amp) will get you far more bang for the buck.

cool, I just bought some no name subs for the sails(pyramid)....they are better than stock and are 4ohm. I bought the 4" speakers for the back already. The front speakers are pioneer premier's but they might be blown..I also discovered I have a very expensive looking electrical type splicing going on in many place in my car....All that **** is getting ripped out this weekend.
