Default Double Din TV in a Trans AM Instuctions please

I see a few people have successfully installed a Double DIN TV in a Fbody TransAM. Nobody ever explains if they needs adapters, or fabbed parts. Do you only need to cut the bottom bracket above the Air controls?

Does anyone have a writeup on this?

The whole thing is custom fabbed...bezel, bracket for mounting, relocating the HVAC in some cases, etc. Most have no writeup because they had it done by someone else(shop). It would make a good writeup though because it appears to be a popular mod.

Yeah I read that post. On the Trans AM it shows that they just cut the plastic between the AC and the radio. But I want to know what double din adapter they used, did something need to be cut. know what I mean.
