Default Daisy Chain Question...

I am going in with a completely new system in my 98 Formula. I will be putting in Polk Audio DB series components in the doors, Polk 6.5 2ways in the sail panel and 3way 6x9's in the back. I will be fabricating the back panels to accept the 6x9's. Seems simple. I also have a Kenwood 10" powered sub. I want to use a Fosgate p850.4 and a Fosgate p450.2 amp. My question is, on the p850.4 there is one set of pass through rca connections for daisy chaining, can I use those to pick up the signal for the powered sub?

Yep...it's an RCA output and yes that's exactly what it's for!! Friendly word of advice..skip the 6x9's. With the other stuff you have listed there you won't even hear them or miss them. Save your money!! I promise you won't even know there gone!!!

Really? So components and 6.5 2ways will be enough? If so that that will save me a few $$$ on another amp. I know the powered sub will be enough bass for me. Just to make sure I have enough mids and highs. I will look into your suggestion.

Check around!! Most guys with quality systems..me included...actually disconnect the rear hatch speakers. Some actually skip the sails as well and put all there effort into the door components and a good sub. I didn't go that route but I did skip the hatch altogether. Go to fbodyaudio .com for more guides to 4th gen systems. Mike @ F-body audio is DJ Sexay. He is on here fairly regularly as well and is a great source of info as well. Some good info for the novice/expert car audio enthusiast!! Here's a link to my system:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/wiring-stereo-electronics/659534-system-pics.html Nothing compared to Mike's but I don't compete like he does either. I've only done 2 competitions. Both were successful but I built my system to suit my tastes not a judges!!

Thank you for the information. I think I will trade out my 6x9's and get 6.5 2ways for the sail panel. Now I can run the Fosgate p850.4 with no problem.
I just hope the Polk speakers sound good and clean.

They should sound fine if they can handle the extra power. That amp puts out alot of juice!! Fade it so the majority of your sound is going to the components. Then adjust the rear coaxials(2-ways) for fill. Should sound really good!!
