Alpine sps-170a install help

Alpine sps-170a install help So after about 1yr of owning I decided to install my new alpines in the front doors. I followed th instructions to the tee on the FAQs. Here is my problem:
The driver side is noticably quiter and not as clear as the passengers side. Both speaker wiring was quadraple checked to make sure it all matches up to the FAQs. You can deffinetly hear the imbalance of which speaker is louder and clear. What do you think is causing this?
It is a completly stock monsoon system in a 02 z28. I purchased 2 pairs of the alpines and I even swapped the drivers side out with another new speaker and its the same issue. Could it be the orginal GM wiring is bad?

Since it sounds like you hear full range sound reproduction on each side....I doubt this is the problem -- but try swapping the pairs of wires on the weaker side just for the hell of it.
