I was laughing at you thinking type rs are SQ subs and you supposedly winning competitions with one. Judging from your response, I have an even better understanding of your intelligence level and car audio knowledge. I should move to where you live, I'd be a car audio god.

Here are some of the installs we did, I haven't added more pictures lately, but if you go to Car Audio you'll see some pics. (My flash is a little messed up, so if you click it a couple times, it will come up).
The older alpine type R subs were really great sq speakers, but the new ones aren't. They lost alot of their edge from what alpine was oringinally a company for.
I think I will go with the JL W3's, just because the ones I've heard, I liked. I could always save 1k per sub for Focal's 13inch... But.. uhm.. no.
