Start with checking your grounds. IF you can, take pictures of where your amp is grounded.

I have to agree, 99% of the problems are poor grounds. If your using a seat belt bolt for the ground, take it off, get out a screwdriver and scrath up the surface under the bolt, works everytime.

Ill take a look at the ground again i did look at it earlier and it was still connected...i did recently hit a curb so im thinking i probally jolted something loose in the deck, but i did find the source of the static and its whenever the attena wire (the round black wire with plug in adapter)is touched or moved

sounds like the ground on your radio is bad. Reground the radio to a bare piece of metal with the paint scratched off. The reason an antenna would do ANYTHING would be only if the ground it has, is weak. The radio is grounding out using the antenna.
