Default OnStar retrofit?

has anyone done a OnSTar retro fit into a 98-02 F body?

Actually, I have seen it done on a couple cars already. One was a 1996 Impala SS, so I couldn't see why one couldn't be done to one of our cars. It would definitely be cool

it can be done, but you'll need to find an OnSTAR system from the same year vehicle as yours, then take the system to your GM dealer and for $15 they will upgrade the hardware to GEN 7 digital and you'll have hands free calling and voice guided turn by turn direction capability.

what parts are needed from the donor? does it connect to the factory radio?
