Help me help my bro!!! Well last night someone broke into my little brother's truck that I helped him get. (such low lifes!) It is a 1998 Dodge Dakota club cab. They took the custom sub box (was in back seat since seat has been removed to make room for box), Alpine headunit, JL subs, and a Legacy amp. He is gonna be a senior in high school this year and I want to help him get some of his stuff back since there is no music whatsoever now. I kinda feel responsible since I was the last to drive it and didn't put it in the driveway next to my TA. If it would have been there the door would have never been able to open wide enough to take anything.
Anyway he wants a screen type headunit and I was looking at this: http://cgi.ebay.com/JENSEN-VM8012-3-...QQcmdZViewItem. Is this a good unit? It is very cheap so I don't know how good it would be since I'm not an audio specialist by any means. Its a JENSEN VM8012. I just want to get it to listen to music for now since there is nothing in there now. He is getting an alarm next week before he starts getting subs and amp again. What do you recommend? Also if you got an amp or subs let me know!
