Mid Speakers Dont work!!!! Whats the deal??

Mid Speakers Dont work!!!! Whats the deal?? i have a 2000SS with the monsoon in it and the mid speaker in the backseat do not play at all. IM thinking the amp is blown because the rest of the speakers play but to me it sounds like they being played of the headunit and not the amp. Help would like to have the full effect of monsoon....

Re: Mid Speakers Dont work!!!! Whats the deal?? The HU only drives the tweeters. So if the amp was blown, none of the other speakers would work. First thing I'd do is check the fuse that goes to the amp (check owner's manual). Now, its possible that the speakers are blown. Take the covers off the speakers and see if they are moving at all while the stereo is playing at loud volume. next plug another speaker in its place and see if that works (borrow one off the front).
Personally, I'd look at this as a good excuse to put an aftermarket system in.

Re: Mid Speakers Dont work!!!! Whats the deal?? yeah I have the same problem with mine I know for a fact at least one of them isn't putting out anything the other one is at least moving. If I still have a warranty will the dealer replace a speaker?
