The new JL 6W3v3 Has anyone tried or thought of putting these in the stock sub locations?
I know people have put the 6w0 in stock location, but they are almost 2 years old now and I dont want a 2 year old sub.

Those require a box, just like the w0s, so it would make no sense to put them in a free air setup.
The w3's are 0.57 inches deeper then the w0'so you would probably need to make an adapter ring in order for them to clear.
