Default running my power wire

im really new to this whole sound system thing but i got a friend helping me put it all together. My question is though, wheres the best place to run a power wire from the battery? i just dont wanna cut a hole in my firewall and find that there was an easier way to do it

do it right. i ran the power wire on the passenger side through the gromet that the ECU penetrates the firewall and run your remote wire from the stereo with it. then take apart the driver's side and run the RCAs.

stereo shops don't do that because it takes twice as long, but many people hear motor noise and separating the RCAs from the power will make sure it doens't do that.

most cars came with a factory drilled hole if you can find it... mine on my 94 camaro was by the steering column. make sure not to put the power wire by other wires it will effect it in some way or another. there is alot of wattage going through that power wire

The grommet is below the PCM on the passenger's side of the firewall.

Yep, just remove your PCM and fish it through.
