My directport is draining my charging system down to 8-9 volts with the stock alternator.

Battery(optima yellow top) is in the back and has a 0 gauge wire to the front.

Thanks

You have a coule of options which include an alternator upgrade whcih come in 160 and 200amp outputs. They can be had on ebay and I'm sure some other places have them. Another option is to do what Alex mentioned with a multiple battery set up. In this case you may be able to go with something like a Kinetik battery that charges really fast to back up your Optima. The nice thing is they come in some smaller sizes as well so you don't have to add so much extra weight to the vehicle. Hope this helps some!!

Tried the 160 amp alternator and a voltage booster on the Dyno last night.

Made 715 on the Direct port until the voltage dropped AGAIN and shut the N20 off.

I dont know what I'm going to do .... Sell the POS maybe
