blinkers dont work

blinkers dont work just out of the blue today they stopped working, both of them at the same time. im guessing its the flasher since the DRL's light up and they blink when i hit the lock switch on the keypad. can anyone confirm that it is the flasher? and is there an install site or any tips you can give to replace the flasher? i know its by the steering wheel somewhere or something. any help is appreciated.

Re: blinkers dont work TTT, my car still has the same issue, the hazards flash, but both turn signals are out, but at night, when the lights are on I can manually click the column and it will make the bulb flash, during the day, it doesn't work...

Re: blinkers dont work i appreciate the thread but those guys arent having the same problems that i am. when i click the turn signal, NOTHING happens. nothing blinks outside or in. it just happened like this yesterday. nothing gradual like last time one of my bulbs burnt out.

Re: blinkers dont work I have this problem when a bulb burns out or just looses connection due to water in the turn signal. When the signal lights don't work, replace the bulb and it works. I'm assuming it could be any of the four corners. I did notice when it happened, that the light (bad one) would still flash when I armed or disarmed the alarm. Go figure. I say replace the signal bulbs before riping anything else apart.

Re: blinkers dont work hmm... I'd still say to look over all of your exterior lights and make sure they ALL work in all modes of operation. If you're convinced it's the flasher, you have to take off the panel just below the steering wheel, and I believe it's on the left side of the column if I remember right. You should have a layout of that panel in your owners manual, or its probably in a Chiltons if you have one. Let us know how it turns out if you get it fixed, flashers don't go bad very often.
